Cal/OSHA Considers Updating and Extending Its COVID-19 ETS
As of last week, Cal/OSHA is considering updating and extending its COVID ETS, which is currently set to expire on May 6, pursuant to an Executive Order from Governor Newsom. The Cal/OSHA Standards Board has released its proposed revised language which it will consider at its April 21, 2022 meeting. The revised language, which can be found here, contains significant revisions, some of which would allow for a return to a more normal work environment. The Standards Board is accepting comments on the proposal for consideration before putting the language to a vote.
