More than 200 UnitedAg member representatives and other ag leaders are expected to attend the event at the Omni La Costa

IRVINE, Calif., (AgPR) Oct. 25 – UnitedAg, a member-owned agricultural trade association representing more than 700 companies in California and Arizona, announced it will hold its 38th Annual Meeting & Conference March 7-10 at the Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif. The 2018 conference “IGNITE” will bring together California’s top agribusiness leaders for three days of education and inspiration. Attendees will walk away enlightened and ready to transform California Agriculture! Stephen Hayes, Editor in Chief of the Weekly Standard and Author of Two New York Times Bestsellers will be the keynote speaker for the event.More than 200 representatives from UnitedAg member organizations and partners, and other agricultural community leaders, are expected to attend.“Ignite is about putting all the building blocks together and truly empowering our members, partners, and staff to bring about change to agriculture,” said Kirti Mutatkar, President and CEO of UnitedAg. “We have been focusing on innovation through collaboration for our past couple conferences, and now we want to emphasize that true innovation comes from inspiring others to follow the path we’ve built together these past couple years. We will focus on the theme of Ignite at the conference and beyond.”

On Thursday, March 08, attendees can enjoy either the UnitedAg Annual Golf Tournament or a mind, body, soul yoga session at the Chopra Center (additional fees apply). Also, a silent auction to support the Agricultural Education Foundation’s Annual Scholarships will take place throughout the day on both March 08 and 09. Activities on Saturday, March 10 – a Health Innovation Panel and WomenAg Leadership Academy session – are by invitation and not open to general conference attendees.

The conference is open to representatives of UnitedAg member organizations and to nonmembers. Registration opens November 1st, 2017.

The conference fee for early-bird pricing is $500 for individuals/$900 for member couples, and $600 for individuals/$1,000 for non-member couples, deadline to register Feb. 2. After Feb. 2 the fee will be an additional $50 for individuals and for couples, respectively – again, while space is available.
