UnitedAg Awards $2,000 to student in Coachella Valley

UnitedAg Awards $2,000 to Ryan Percy a student at Desert Christian Academy High School.
UnitedAg is proud to announce that it has awarded the Agribusiness Education Foundation Scholarship Award to Ryan Percy from Desert Christian Academy High School. The scholarship awarded can be used towards room and board, tuition, books and other educational expenses. Beginning this Summer, Ryan will be attending the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo to pursue a degree in agricultural engineering. Ryan is a member-affiliated student through Ocean Mist Farms a member company headquartered in Castroville, California.
UnitedAg awarded the scholarships after reviewing 86 submitted applications. Applicants submitted in addition to detailed information, an essay focused on the top issues impacting agriculture and new challenges and opportunities that farmers face every day.
