UnitedAg Expands its Health & Wellness Centers to Serve Farmworker Families in Colusa and Napa Valley

IRVINE, Calif., (AgPR), May 3, 2019 – UnitedAg, www.unitedag.org, a member-owned agricultural trade association representing more than 1,000 organizations, announced it is adding two new health and wellness centers to its ever-growing network that serves California and Arizona farmworkers and their families. Together with UnitedAg’s eleven existing Health Centers, these new wellness centers will provide access to thirteen centers across California and Arizona for members’ employees and dependents with healthcare coverage through United Agricultural Benefit Trust (UABT). These centers provide a range of services focused on the unique needs of the agricultural community – from acute and episodic care to health-risk and disease management to wellness and prevention. Emphasizing on short wait times and personalized care, these wellness centers also feature on-site lab services and many available on-site prescriptions.

To celebrate the addition of the new centers to its member network, UnitedAg will hold two ribbon-cutting ceremonies Thursday, May 16th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at UnitedAg Health & Wellness Center in Napa - 1100 Lincoln Avenue, Suite 106, Napa, CA 94558 and Friday, May 17th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at UnitedAg Health & Wellness Center in Colusa – 412 4th Street Colusa, CA 95932.
